THE WHY BEHIND OUR GIVING

You might be wondering why a company that feels so passionately about nonprofits isn’t a nonprofit itself.

Great question. We’re glad you asked.

Simple answer: philanthropy. 

Because when we launched this company, we didn’t want our work to be solely about teaching, training and upskilling. We wanted to be a part of forward-thinking, inclusive, empowering missions that are powering global good. 

We’ve witnessed philanthropy’s ability to change not only the beneficiary - but the giver too.  And it’s a profound privilege to play a small role leading to those miracles.

We want to invest in missions that move our hearts, need capital to scale more quickly, have proven success, are daring enough to try some stuff, and those that are deeply for good. 

We don’t want to just fuel the Impact Uprising with our platform. We want to have a hand in investing in it too. And we had a feeling our Do-Gooder friends may want to join that effort too. 

In short: we want to live our values and passion out loud by pouring a portion of We Are For Good’s earnings back into the missions we see changing the world.

While we respect every donor’s right to anonymity of their gifts, we personally feel that socializing your giving brings more people into giving and brings awareness to both large and little-known missions. Besides, if we’re making a gift in honor of someone, we want them to join in the joy of watching their gift ripple.

We know it takes more than just skill and business savvy to power an Impact Uprising, and we want to be a wholly integral part of powering the movement.
